Dr. Mike Bannan, Cosmetic Dentist

A 1980 graduate of the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, Dr. Michael J. Bannan has been providing gentle dental care in his Standish, MI practice for over 27 years. In 2001, he opened a second practice location in Owosso, MI. Both offices offer Dr Bannan’s considerable experience and expertise in cosmetic restorative care, implant dentistry and comprehensive orthodontic services for adults and children.

With a strong commitment to excellence and continued education, Dr. Bannan has completed well over 2500 hours of postgraduate study and earned a prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, (FAGD).

His passion for excellence in appearance-related dentistry has allowed him to become the tenth dentist in Michigan to achieve Accreditation by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also the official cosmetic dentist for the Mrs. Michigan-America Pageant.

He also makes presentations on the latest cosmetic dental techniques to groups of Dentists and their teams.

An avid outdoor recreation enthusiast, Dr. Bannan enjoys fishing, boating, hunting and golfing when he is not studying the latest dental techniques.

He also enjoys 27years of marriage with his wife and best friend, Cindy Bannan. Together, they have become first-time Grandparents to Logan James Bannan, born 8/14/05.

Dr Bannan and Cindy have three sons and a daughter-in-law. Sean, 26 and his wife Katie, are Logan's parents. Sean is attending Michigan State University in the Pre-Dental curriculum and Katie is employed by Prime Retail Inc. Ryan, 23, is also attending Michigan State University, majoring in Psychology. Patrick, also 23, is an honors graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania. Patrick is currently employed with Impact Games Inc. Dr B's dog Dazey, a yellow lab, is a frequent visitor at the office.
